Apollo Strong Moving Policies, Procedures and Terms of Service: (Use of Services provided by Apollo Strong Moving constitutes agreement with our Terms of Service.)
Moving time Starts once the crew arrives at your location, time is finished at the completion of your move. After the 2 hour minimum, time is charged in 30 minute increments.
Furniture blankets, shrink wrap, disassembly, reassembly, carpet runners, door jambs, use of 3 wardrobe boxes and 1 TV Box up to 60" is included. Storage blankets and extra storage shrink wrap available for an added price. TV Box is not guaranteed protection.
Declare specialty or non standard goods prior to your move.
Declare any high value, irreplaceable or sentimental items prior to your move in writing. Self transport may be the best option.
Insurance included in your move is $.60 per pound regardless of item. This is the maximum amount a mover is liable for unless additional insurance is purchased. Additional insurance can be purchased here. Additional Moving Insurance
Extended Flooring Protection is available for an added materials charge. We do wrap banisters per customer requests and where necessary.
Emailed quotes are good for 21 days.
The more prepared you are for your move, the more efficient the movers can be. Your move price is based on total time.
Some clients want their move done as quickly as possible, some clients want detailed care. Both options are available. Speak to your move manager or office with your specific requests.
No Propane, Firearms, Ammunition, Flammables, Chemicals, Cooking Oils, Liquid Detergents, Liquid in glass containers, Important Papers or Coin Collections allowed on truck. We do not move them.
Size of truck offered and estimate of hours is based off of customer description or request. Be specific when giving inventory so we are able to reserve enough time for your move. Time on your quote is an estimate, not a guarantee.
$50 Deposit is needed to secure your local move date. Deposit is refundable if move is cancelled or changed 72 hours prior to your move time. Deposit is not refundable if move is cancelled or changed within 72 hours of your move time.
We have the right to refuse service. We may choose not to move you in dangerous, contagious or highly unsanitary conditions.
A fee of $200 or more may be added at our discretion for highly unsanitary conditions.
We do not move in extreme weather conditions. If your move is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, the next available day will be offered.
Not Responsible for:
Internal mechanisms of electronic equipment and appliances where there is no physical damage.
Insurance is $.60 per pound regardless of items. Not responsible for any amount greater than this.
Undeclared high value items.
Piano Tuning.
All items made from MDF / Particle Board.
Loose unpacked items, including lamp shades.
Any item verbally deemed by the movers as unsafe to move.
Attic items to be moved is at the mover's discretion. Not responsible for misstep attic damage.
Our trucks not fitting into your designated parking area. We will get as close as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to empty my dresser? -- Yes, if your furniture is constructed of light weight and MDF wood, (eg. Ikea furniture) you want to take all items out. Also, please take clothes out of all dressers/chests if items are coming up or down the stairs.
Do I need to empty my refrigerator? -- Yes
Do I need to empty my deep freezer? -- No, not for local moves.
Do I need to empty my safe? -- Yes
Do I need to clean my charcoal grill -- Yes, this needs to be empty and clean.
How and when do I make payment for services? -- Payment is made at the time of service. We accept cash, cashiers checks, debit and credit cards. A 3% processing fee is assessed on debit and credit card payments.
What if everything doesn't fit on one load? -- Although our trucks are larger, we do not guarantee everything will fit on one load. There are many variables involved. If a second trip is necessary, you will be charged for your total time.
What if I have a problem with the service I received? -- Although we try to be diligent with each move, accidents and bad days do happen.
